Recipe Summary
A convenient, high-protein ice cream base prepared with whey protein powder, milk, and a stabilizer (xanthan/guar gum). Offers two nutritional profiles depending on the use of whole milk or unsweetened almond milk.

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount Notes
Milk (Whole Milk or Unsweetened Almond Milk) 350 ml Choose based on preference
Banana Flavored Whey Protein 30 g
Granulated Sugar 1 tbsp
Xanthan Gum or Guar Gum - Stabilizer

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients

Add milk, whey protein powder, granulated sugar, and xanthan/guar gum into a blender container. Blend until completely smooth and homogeneous.

  2. Transfer to Pint and Freeze

Pour the mixture into an ice cream pint. Secure the lid and place in the freezer until fully frozen.

Capacity and Fill Line Warning
350 ml of liquid plus the added ingredients will fill the pint to the top and exceed the MAX fill line. To avoid overflow and ensure safe processing:

  • Slightly reduce ingredient quantities (e.g. down to 300 ml milk) to make a single pint, OR
  • Scale up the recipe and divide the mixture across 2 pints.
